Long time lurker here hoping a post will make me more accountable! I'm hoping to lose ~60 lbs by the end of July so I can finally start my 27th year on this planet feeling and looking better than I ever have before!
I've been overweight my entire life. I had parents who enabled overeating and didn't know much about eating healthy themselves. As a gradeschooler they let me eat 2 entire bagels slathered in butter or even two entire fast food breakfast sandwiches!
I've got my first marathon coming up in April and I'm hoping that I can run it ~25-30 lbs lighter! Holidays have been a struggle but I've got MyFitnessPal and am trying to get used to logging and the CICO mentality. I'm definitely someone who tends to demonize certain foods while overeating the "good" ones has kept the scale from budging for over a year.
