I started getting really anxious and out of breath during the first part of my workout, but I finished it anyway.

Pretty much the title. Just doing my warm up on the elliptical, which is how I generally start my workout to warm up. Around 9 minutes in, I started psyching myself out and bargaining with myself ("I don't really HAVE to do this for 15 minutes, I could just do 10 minutes and do a little extra lifting!"). I started getting really anxious and had to get off to regain my composure. Normally this would be it and I would leave the gym anxious and defeated. This time, however, I got back on the elliptical and finished my workout. I'm still really anxious and feeling defeated because I've been in a plateau for a while now, but I feel better than if I had just quit right then. I keep telling myself that it is these little victories that add up to success. We can do this!
