Hypertension finally put me over the edge

After being put on BP medication I have finally mentally cleared the hurdle that will allow me to lose the weight I need.

I am a male currently 6'3"/300 lbs at age 47 and I have started simple cardio 4 to 5 days per week by walking for sixty minutes at a 2.5 mph pace on the inclined treadmill.

My TDEE is 2786 based on a sedentary profile (computer programmer), so I am going with 2000 kcal/day (20c/40p/40f).

Combined with the exercise and deficit, my hope is for 1.5 to 2.0 lbs per week of fat loss with a goal weight of 220lbs in 12 months.

Hopefully at 12 months I can also drop off the BP medication.
