Losing the gut

For the bots: F/28/5'6 SW:209 CW:170.8 GW:140

I'm officially down 39 pounds and while I've noticeably shrunk down, I feel like my stomach hasn't (mainly mid and lower). That's always been my "trouble" area; the first to gain weight and the last to come off. Although, it never seems to get flat.

I know you can't spot reduce, but I'd like to hear from people who have the same issue of stubborn fat clinging to their stomach.

How much did you have to lose to finally see a flatter stomach? Did you have to reset your GW to a lower amount? Did you have better results with weight training or cardio? Thanks!
