Over my journey I've encountered many little accomplishments that make the work worth it. The fitting into smaller shirts. The next hole in the belt. The making a new best in an excersize. All of these are the what helps propel you further towards you goals.
Recently I felt this weird feeling when I was walking, it was my thighs grazing each other while I was walking. I stopped noticing them rubbing while walking because that was just normal. Now as my legs have become more toned and i lose more and more jiggle, I'm close to that being a thing of the past.
The extra bulge on the inside of my thighs were on of the things that really hit me before I started and kicked off my desire to get myself in gear. I've been skipping runs because of the cold and finding reasons to cheat on my diet here and there, but this new little accomplishment is right there in front of me and pushed me to get better cold weather gear for running.
Before this last week when it got cold and snowed I was hitting my personal bests in my first mile and overall time on my running route. Time to get back to it, forget the holiday excuse and push it back into gear.
This year I'm thankful for the little accomplishments that push everyone towards their larger goals.
