Any tips for someone with a fluctuating appetite?

I (17FtM) have a hard time with my appetite. I'm trying to lose 15-20lbs (I'm 5'4", 145lbs) to get to my normal weight of ~120-130lbs. I rarely feel hungry (I'll often feel nauseous) when I have food in front of me, so I'll either not eat and find out 30 minutes later that I'm starving, or force myself to eat and end up involuntarily puking.

Other times I'll feel so hungry that I'll scarf everything down and more, only to realize 5 minutes later that I overate and end up so full I almost throw up or do throw up.

Any tips on how to navigate this? I have no self control and limited funds for healthier food, so I feel so stuck.
