I grew up eating homemade food such as breaded chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, bread, etc. I'll eat some fruits but my veggie list is pretty slim with regular potatoes, corn, carrots, green beans on my list. Hate asparagus, Brussel sprouts, broccoli, kale, etc. Salads are barely manageable for me unless it's straight lettuce with dressing. I wish I could enjoy veggies but I fear my palate has been f'd up after years of eating such food with very little veggies. I work out several times a week but I've been finding myself gaining weight despite eating the same level of food and I feel it's a bad weight gain.
Anyways, needed to rant and need to find my motivation again (previously lost 25 lbs using calorie restriction) only to gain it back over 2 yrs. Just feeling lost but if I could learn to enjoy veggies more I'm sure it would help align things better. Thanks for listening.
