I've been doing CICO since late april, and I've only had 1 real cheat day, so I consider it a personal success, and I lost 40 pounds. The pounds flew away easily in the beginning, but my progress seems way slower lately. Instead of the 2 pounds a week it is more like 0.5 pounds weekly all of last month.
I did update my TDEE based on my new weight and I still weigh every little veggie. My guess is that I am still too sedentary and somehow the TDEE calculator isn't accounting for that. But I am completely OK with this slowdown as I got great new and healthy eating habits and lifestyle even, and I am still losing after all.
Looking at this sub, I get the impression that it really is easier to shed when you are larger, while more fit people really fight with the last few pounds. So this is a thing, right?
How was/is your experience with the speed of losing in your journey?
