When did the ​paper towel effect "kick in" for you?

Hey guys - long time lurker, first time poster here.

This subreddit often mentions the "paper towel effect", where the closer you get to your goal weight, the bigger impact each pound makes on your appearance/clothing sizes.

I love this concept, and I'm curious about your experiences with this.

When did the paper towel effect become apparent to you? How many pounds did it take before you really started noticing a difference (and dropping pants sizes a bit more quickly)?

I've dropped 45-ish pounds so far and gone from a suuuuper tight size 16 jean (the stretchy jegging kind you get at Target) to a pretty comfortable size 14 all across the board.

Even though I feel better than I did 45 pounds ago, I'm having a bit of trouble seeing the difference in the mirror + imagining fitting into anything below a size 14 happening anytime soon...

Would love to hear about some of your experiences with this!
