What Can You Change In a Year?

Last year, almost to this day, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My hair was falling out from the stress of college, and after two years of steady weight gain I was at the heaviest I've ever been (270 lbs at 5'10 last May). It seemed like things were just getting worse and worse until I decided to challenge both my father and I with a fitness competition. Currently, I am down to 248 lbs, the first time in about two years I've been below 250. Not only am I feeling better, but my general health is already improving (and yes, my hair is growing back lol). Joe Mangionello poses a goal for anybody who reads his book: What can you change in a year? Just felt like posting here that for the first time in a long while I am slowly (but steadily) losing weight just through lifestyle choices. How has everyone else been achieving their goals? Anyone sticking to a new year's resolution still? I'd love to hear about your loseit journeys, and you can bet I'm going to be posting back here in a year!
