Weightloss advice

I'm 18, I've been slightly overweight for the past 5 years maybe. I've always been athletic, I can lift more than most people but I have unwanted fat around my waist and face as well as pecks. I've always done weight training. I can do cardio just fine. I think I'm addicted to food tho. I'm a foodie. I love to cook and I appreciate good food. I know how to get to my goals but food always holds me back. I guess I lose motivation at points when I see no progress or slide off my lifestyle of healthy eating at one point. What can I do that will help me stopping my eating habits? Also what should my daily workout routine be? I don't have a gym membership, I have a barbell and some weight at my house and I usually like biking for cardio because I have trouble running.

Thanks for listening, if anyone has suggestions or a program they followed to lose weight that they would recommend I would really appreciate it.

BTW I'm 240, 6'0", and around 26% bodyfat. Im not extremely overweight and most people don't consider me even fat. I just need to get cut for not only a better lifestyle but to avoid the diabetes that runs in my family.
