No more false starts: the promise to myself

Hey everyone! After being an avid lurker on this page for about 6 months and after many false starts toward a healthy lifestyle, today is the day that I only move forward!

I am always so inspired reading everyone’s journeys that I’ve been wanting to post my own weight loss pictures. So, I’m here to tell ya that I’ll be back on this subreddit in 4 months to share my progress!

You have all shown me that it is possible to not only start being healthy, but to STAY healthy. I usually start off exceptionally well and healthy, but after 3 weeks I start to creep back into bad habits, allowing myself to eat above my caloric deficit or have 5 not great eating days in a row. But now, I am excited to push through these next 4 months with as much positivity, self love and healthy choices that I can. This weight loss and healthy lifestyle journey is truly a marathon, not a sprint.

So on that note, it’s time to fry up this tilapia and hit the ground running, literally ;)

Thanks to everyone for their stories, keep up the sharing and positivity on this subreddit!

I’ll see you all again in 4 months with 20 less pounds on me!
