New and slightly apprehensive...

Good morning, I am a 20 something male from the United Kingdom and I am looking to lose weight...

It's gotten to the point where I hate the way I look and feel on a daily basis. It's now the 21st of September 2018 and I am determined to make a change; I've tried dieting before, had lost weight and put the weight back on more times than I care to count and I am now at an all-time high and it's killing me both mentally and physically. There is some good news in this, I have recently had blood work done and it's all come back clear, no risk of diabetes at the moment, low cholesterol, perfect blood pressure, and thyroid levels are normal... So the underlying cause of this is definitely me and my mentality.

I currently weigh 355lbs or around 160kg and at 6 feet tall it's gotten to the point where I refuse to go shopping because I hate being reminded of how the nicer clothes won't fit me or don't look good on me. Apparently, a healthy weight for me would be around 180lbs or 80kg so that means I've got just under half my own body weight to lose, which in itself is a daunting thing to think about; I know deep down I need it though so I am looking for any tips and advice anyone can give me to help me along this massive journey as they would be greatly appreciated.
