Massive Milestone Week!

First off, the milestones: I am now comfortably in the 200's, I have entered Class II Obesity per BMI, lowest weight in 7 years, I'm consistently fitting into XL shirts, personal records are consistently being broken with weight lifting, blood pressure is now almost solidly in normal zones, confidence has been increasing!

I started on this journey about two and a half years ago. It has not been all downhill with the weight loss, but there has definitely been overall consistent effort. From finally realizing I couldn't put off working to be healthy to now, it has been a struggle but for the better.

I've lost weight on my own, gained some back, moved to getting accountability from a personal trainer and recently started eating a ketogenic lifestyle. So many changes (as detailed above) have been noticed and it has helped to have encouragement from my family, my coworkers and at the gym. At least for me, having a support network (even if just a 'good job') has been crucial.

There is still a long path ahead of me, but it feels like I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I've found numerous tools to help: actively tracking food, walking to hunt Pokemon, strength training and cardio with my trainer, intermittent fasting, and now keto.

I recognize this is what has been working for me and others might have different effective tools. So I recommend to those still unsure of what works, try something new and evaluate it. That is how I have slowly found what works for my body and my mind on this journey!
