I'm tired of always being tired, of not being able to climb up the stairs to my apartment without getting winded, of tearing holes in my pants from my thighs rubbing together, of having physical difficulty putting on my socks everyday, and of feeling ashamed of myself everytime I look in a mirror. My issue is I don't know where to start. I eat like crap because it's cheap, it's fast, and it's easy. I want to lose weight, and when I lay in bed at night I always tell myself, "tomorrow I'm changing something". But then I wake up in the morning and I say screw it I have too much to do today, I didn't get enough sleep, excuse, excuse, excuse, and I don't want to deal with it today.
***I promise this isn't just a pity party post. ***
I was scrolling through the front page and noticed a post from this subreddit and I thought, "maybe if I have people to talk to, who are going through the same thing, but actually doing something about it I can motivate myself or I can get some help on where to start." So, this is my cry for help (I think I heard somewhere that the first step is admitting you have a problem) So, I have a problem. And I want to change it. I haven't stepped on a scale in probably 8 months. But I believe I'm probably somewhere around 300-320 lbs. I'm 5'7" (probably closer to 6" but I'm taking the extra inch of height) Is there anyone who can help me start planning for losing this weight. Honestly I want to try to get at least under 250 lbs but would love to get to 200 but I'm not sure I'm ready to make that large of a goal yet. If anyone has any advice, help for food options (I'm not a very good cook), or can help in any way possible I greatly would appreciate it. Thank you to anyone who even takes the time to read this.
