Hi guys! (Just a heads up a lot of this is backstory so if you like you can skip to the bold text below) I’ve been more calorie-cautious for about 5 months now. Early on I want a bit too hard with it: vegan, low carb, diligent macro tracking, super low calorie. Obviously such a drastic change was very difficult to uphold. After falling off the horse and gaining back 20 of the 30 pounds that I lost, I’m back on the horse! Now, here’s my issue, and the point of my post. In an attempt to make things much more doable and meet my goal, I’ve decided to do nothing but count calories. No matter how I get it, as long as it’s 1300-1400 calories a day (usually eggs, turkey sandwiches, and salads, but sometimes McDonald’s or Taco Bell), that’ll do it for me. However, I have a feeling that now that I’m no counting macros or obsessing so much about how I get the calories, I’m not going to lose any weight. Can anyone speak to these fears and maybe clear up some of my thoughts about how I’m getting my calories? Thanks guys!
