I first found this group back on August 6th after I was notified that I had Prediabetes through my A1C test and that and the fact that I am a new dad made me realized I need to get my shit together. It's been a great support system and a way to be held accountable with Weigh-In Wednesday and seeing all of your awesome progress. As of this morning I am officially 244.8, down 20 lbs from where I started on August 6th (265 lbs).

I have almost completely cut out fast food and sweets, been drinking a lot more water, doing C25K on my lunch break 3 days/week, staying under 1,760 calories a day and doing 16/8 IF. The IF really helps as I am able to have about a 500 calorie lunch and 200 calorie snack at work and still have 1,060 calories when I get home which makes things a lot easier if there is a few extra calories in my dinner then I planned for. Once I lost 10 pounds the first few weeks I felt like this time would actually be the time I succeeded and I have become addicted to seeing the losses on the scale. I can't wait to wake up in the morning and see my progress.
I recently had to get my blood work done and was able to compare my results from just 45 days of being healthier and more conscious about what I eat.
My Cholesterol improved from 169 to 158
My Triglycerides improved from 119 to 89
My blood pressure improved from 126/84 to 110/78
Can't wait to continue my Journey! Up next is 235 by Halloween, 225 by Christmas, and 200 by April.
