I have a 10 day beach holiday coming up in 5 weeks and I started my journey 11 weeks ago with the aim to be down from 160 to 120 (40lbs) by my holiday. I have a box full of tiny summer clothes, all mostly never worn from when I used to be 119 lbs. I couldn’t wait to wear them. However, life happened and I temporarily split from my husband. I also have a 6 month old who doesn’t sleep great so I do struggle to find the time to exercise. Anyways now I’m finding myself with only 5 weeks to go and I’m at 149 (11 lbs lost). I am really beating myself up that I just sort of wasted a lot of time and now I’ll never get close to my goal. I’m trying to re-assess and remind myself that I have a lot going on and I should now just move forward with a different goal.
So the new goal is to be 119 by the start of Christmas which is straight before New Year, my birthday and my son’s first birthday. It’ll be cold AF where I live but I can still wear those pretty summer clothes around the house I suppose 😆 and hey, there’s always next summer!
