I can't believe I'm finally posting on this subreddit.

After a very, very long year and a bit, I'm finally posting on this subreddit to post about my loss! I've been fairly overweight for a long while, but hitting obese (super high on the BMI scale) was the start of my journey. Sitting at 206/208 lbs, my dad had just lost a massive chunk of weight and looked so much healthier. I decided to finally weigh myself, see the damage and decide my plan. A part of me was still worried because every time I'd try changing my eating before, I would last a few days or two and then just fall back in to the cycle of comfort eating because I was sad that I was fat. This time it was different, I had a ton of will power, and I actually managed to lose 50 lbs last year in time for my holiday. I kind of went back in to my eating habits (large bag of crisps, pack of shortbread, pizza for dinner, pasty for lunch per day ect) just because of ease. I decided to kick start it up again before I go back to uni this September, and decided to see how much I had put on. 9lbs. Could have been worse but it also could have been better. Either way I knew I could easily lose it. Fast forward to today, and I have comfortably lost 67.4 lbs overall! Below is my before and after pictures, however I don't think they do it much justice.

If there was any advice that I would like to have had before I started losing weight, it would be that you can have bad days, but just make sure that those bad days don't turn in to bad weeks (and that turkey mince is THE best!).
