how do i stop feeling like i need to be skinny and start feeling like i need to be healthy?

throwaway since this is kind of embarrassing

i grew up in a culture where its pretty normal for your family members to make comments on your weight and appearance especially if you're a woman (which i am haha). obviously, that lead to a lot of self esteem and body issues up the wazoo. i joined this sub because i felt like reading everyone's stories would encourage me to feel more comfortable in my own skin while i tried getting healthier. but like trying to change my mentality from "you need to be skinny to be pretty" to "you should do this to get healthy" is just a lot more difficult than i thought. i know like logically im fine my bmi is 23 i look good and all but i just don't.... feel good. i just feel fat.

is there any advice any of you could impart on me? some wisdom? some self help book? anything???? feeling this way is.... exhausting.
