Hello! So I bought some calipers and the results are coming in way less than they should be. I’m just under 5’10, 187 lbs and 30 year old male.
Used three sites: chest half way between arm pit and nipple 1 inch right of belly button Half way between hip and belly button on thigh Used a tape and pen to mark locations and repeated the test several times.
Put the numbers into a few online calculators and got around 10%-11%body fat. I was expecting mid to low 20’s
Measurements were: Chest 7mm Belly 16 mm Thigh
Any advice on where I am going wrong? I’m down from 250 lbs and trying to get a more accurate gauge of where I’m at as I get closer to my goals. Thanks in advance!
