I'm so excited my wife on her own told me she was going to start counting calories and I could not be more proud and excited to help with anything she might need. It was so heartwarming seeing her decide against fried potatoes and saving two hundred calories by just baking one. I loved her reaction to seeing how little calories are in a huge platter of chicken. It truly warms my heart that I'll have someone on my journey to a healthier ~~me~~ us. I love the way she looks now (thicc) but I can tell that she doesn't and I know she will feel a thousand times better when she realizes weight loss is simple, and more importantly under her control. I love it so much it makes me want to cry with happiness.
She already had her first day, it was great! She only had a piece of grilled chicken a baked potato, it was great when she looked guilty when I saw she grabbed dessert and I told her it was fine she was still within her calories! It's amazing what the Diet industry has done to make diets seem like the worst thing on the planet, instead of the cutting back or rather changing your diet to emphasize filling low calories foods.
If anyone has joined their possibly overenthusiastic spouse in a weight loss journey what helped you? Am I going to go overboard and scare her out of weight loss by being too excited too fast and put pressure on her? Or is it better I constantly encourage to help motivate her? What helped you?
