Maintenance Monday: What's the hardest part?

A lot of maintainers maintain that maintenance* is a lot harder than they though it would be. But what exactly is the hardest part is different for everyone.

For Chris Martin it's letting go, not taking part. For me, it's having to be exact. I'm still trying to figure out my TDEE, and I'm having a hard time differentiating water weight (be it hormonal or exercise induced) from 'regular' weight gain. I know it's a bit of a game of trial and error, so I'm just going to keep on trying and erroring.

Another difficult one is being ok with not seeing the number on the scale drop anymore. I mean I don't want it to go lower anymore, but also I kinda do?

Anyway. What's the hardest part for you, and how do you deal with it?

*I'm sorry. My physio had me foam roll my leg for 20 minutes today and I've been internally crying since
