How do you guys count CICO for restaurants / home made that don't have all the details?

this is the one thing that bothers me...for example work lunch menu where its made in house, or small mom and pop shops. Sure they may have the info but are you going to ask every time "Let me see the details" before you choose something on the menu?

And for home made foods are you guys measuring out every single thing, for example normally if you made eggs you add some obscure amount of butter to the pan...are you now literally weighing or measuring the butter, salt, every tiny item.

It just seems so time consuming and has been which is why my CICO tracking falls in and out often. I would like to hear how you guys do it that doesnt take 20 minutes of your time to input every meal.

Thanks!
