Note: I am not bashing Halo Top. I think they have some wonderful products, especially the mocha one. Yum.
So, a few days ago, my family went for the weekly grocery trip. I live in Small-town, Canada, and have only sampled the rarity that is Halo Top, or HT as it will hereafter be referred to, a handful of times. There, I picked up a pint for 6.99. Or 7.99, I can’t remember. All I can recall is that the flavour, “Candy Bar”, was supposed to come with “crunchy peanuts and ribbons of caramel” mixed in a chocolate base, for only 90 calories a serving.
It didn’t. Not to be a drama queen, but I was pretty disappointed, especially with refrozen texture( I do realize that could be the store’s fault, but other products taken from the same unit were intact) I gave the pint to my garbage disposal of a sibling, and settled for a mediocre banana. Next trip, I purchased from the Breyer’s line of low calorie frozen treats. I got “Cookies and Cream”, which has chunks of Oreo (?) atop a vanilla base. I also bought vanilla and chocolate, which both have no mix-ins.
Anyways, I hadn’t thought much about it until I read this post For the lazy, the OP received a pint of Birthday Cake lacking sprinkles. Another commenter bought a similar pint without. My question is: Have any of you noticed this?
