When should I get rid of my old jeans?

F24/ SW:192/ CW:176/GW:155 So I started a new job in January that has me on my feet all day, constantly lifting 50lbs bags of animal feed, salt, sand etc...as well pulling pallets that can weigh over 2000lbs. Needless to say I've lost some weight. Only 15lbs according to the doctor, but I've gone down 4 pant sizes and a shirt size. My job requires me to wear jeans everyday and I've gone from a US 16 to a US 8. I'm so incredibly happy that I'm finally under double digits, I'm starting to feel thinner and prouder of my body. I saw how easily I dropped the weight just from work that I started paying attention to my diet. I noticed I ate less since I've been busy working. In an effort to better myself further I've started eating less junk food and more fruits and vegetables as well as a hell of a lot more water! I'm really enjoying all the fresh food and introduced a food scale to start calculating my exact CICO. I dont find it hard and it's actually pretty interesting when you start looking at serving sizes and their calories. I was talking to a couple of my fellow female co-workers about the weight I'm losing and how I'm getting tired of always buying jeans because they keep falling off. Both of them told me they lost weight when they first started the job too but gained it all back. One of them had the audacity to tell me not to get rid of my old clothes because I'm going to gain the weight back too. I was taken aback. I'm so happy with the progress I've made, I know I only lost a few pounds but I feel lighter, I'm happier with more exercise and a better diet. It should be common sense, I know, but this is the first time I've gotten myself to this point. It's the first time I dont feel huge. I'm so incredibly determined to stay this way, to stick to a healthier diet and a little more exercise. I don't want to gain the weight back! I just feel so much better without it!

Anyway, I'm going through my closet and getting rid of clothes that I havent worn in the last couple of years. I went from owning 3 pairs of jeans in January to 17 pairs because I keep buying more when they start falling off. I want to get rid of them but that comment keeps nagging me. I dont want to gain the weight back but what if I do? This is the first time I've really stuck with any diet for more than a few weeks. What if in winter I get lazy again? My plan was to keep at least one of the bigger pairs just to do one of those before and after photos but now idk what to do. I'm determined to lose the weight but what if I gain it back? I'll just have to buy more jeans. Im thinking of maybe at least keeping a size up "just in case" but idk. I'm drowning in jeans and dont know what to do with all of them. Help!

TLDR: Lost some weight and went down 4 pant sizes from new job, started eating healthier, CICO and working out more, Im really enjoying my new size and I'm determined to get even healtheir. Coworker says I'll just gain the weight back and not to throw away old clothes. Should I get rid of my old jeans anyway? I dont want to be that size again.

Also! To be clear: I'm not throwing anything away! Everything is being donated!
